Witty GKC

I've recently started reading this great book wherein I've discovered that Chesterton was a man of  ample girth - six feet four inches and tipping the scales at a whopping three hundred pounds. Apparently this enormous stature led to a famous exchange during World War I. A lady once asked him why he wasn't out at the Front? His reply: "If you go round the side, you will see that I am."
